Penn State Electrochemical Engine Center (ECEC) Fuel Cell Membrane-Electrode Assembly (MEA) Fabrication Facility

The development and fabrication of high-performance MEAs for direct methanol fuel cells and CO-tolerant MEAs for hydrogen fuel cells is underway. The MEA fabrication facility at the ECEC has the capability to fabiricate MEAs in sizes up to 520 cm2.
